Hello Derek,  
Just a short note to let you know the 126 is doing super.  I rode 3,000+ miles on mostly back roads running 50/65 mph and some interstate and four lane at 75/80 mph. The oil temp ran 160/180 on back roads and would get up to 230 running 75/80 mph for long durations. The chain we changed to is fantastic, I lubed it one time but never had to adjust it. 
Unfortunately I had no real challengers, they would roll up, look and listen then turn their head. I did get the opportunity to run it up to about 6000 in 2nd and 3rd two times, no contest, really great. Performance is everything I had hoped for. 
Something I forgot to tell you...........this is hard to believe but...........every time we gassed up my bike always took one to three tenths of a gallon less than Gary's stock twin cam 88. Unbelievable but normal riding delivered 38 to 40 miles per gallon. I suppose it was because it took no effort to pull a fully loaded bike......most likely 150 extra pounds.

Our 145 is currently powering a 2004 Road King® with minor frame modification. The engine is available with fuel injection or an S&S carburetor and come assembled or unassembled.

S&S PANHEAD ENGINE

RETRO STYLING - MODERN TECHNOLOGY

Panhead S&S Cycle replacement v-twin engine for Harley-Davidson S&S Cycle introduces an engine with a retro look, but with updated technology. The panhead engine, which was produced from 1948 until 1965, has been hailed as the coolest looking classic engine of all time.

The new P-Series engines from S&S capture that retro styling from the 50's and 60's, but with 21st century engineering. Keep in mind, that as cool as these motors look, they are not reproductions. These engines were built to run!

S&S P-series engines are available in three styles to fit 1948-'99 style chassis. One engine style is designed for 1954-'64 style primary applications. These 1955-'64 style P-series engines can also be installed in 1948-'54 chassis if a 1955-'64 style inner primary cover is used. Another engine fits 1965-'69 style chassis using the early alloy primary. Finally, for retro custom applications, an alternator/generator version is offered that will fit any stock or custom 1970-'99 style chassis.

Match your performance needs with a choice of displacements and compression ratios: 93", 93" high compression, or the big and bad 103" model. The 93H and 103" engines come standard with dual plugged heads. While S&S P93 and P93H engines will nearly always fit in stock chassis, P103 engines are .300" taller than stock and will not fit in stock frames without modification.

In addition, engine life and dependability are better than you might expect from an engine this large.  In fact, IST equipped versions come with a full three year warranty.  Chrome plated billet gearcover, tappet guides, and die cast rocker covers, S&S roller rocker arms, S&S electric compression releases, the S&S High Volume High Pressure (HVHP) oil pump and an S&S Super G carburetor are standard features.

S&S offers an updated version of the V96 that makes it an even better value and a better “daily driver”. The main difference is the replacement of the SuperStock® cylinder heads and domed piston with S&S Performance Replacement heads and a flat topped piston. The design of the combustion chamber and piston used with the new heads make the new V96 less prone to knock. That’s a real plus in hot weather and in touring applications when the selection of fuel may be limited. Are we losing anything? All S&S Cycle V124 engines feature polished billet tappet guides and gearcover, electric compression releases, and show quality chrome plated die-cast S&S rocker covers.

Street Pro S&S Cycle replacement v-twin engine for Harley-DavidsonS&S engine packages range from 120" to 139". All S&S Street Pro engines are 45° V-Twins, built with the S&S crankcases including the S&S gear drive cams.

The Street Pro engine is available with either twin cam or Evolution rear motor mounts. THE ULTIMATE RACE ENGINE

 S&S pro stock engine The S&S Pro Stock billet engine is a 160 cubic inch pushrod engine in a 60° V-Twin configuration.

The engine configuration is legal for competition in the NHRA Pro Stock and AHDRA Pro Gas divisions. The engine is built with special S&S billet crankcases, cylinders, and heads, and features an integral 6-speed automatic transmission.
