Star Racing Posts Over $180,000 in Contingencies for 2009

March 6th, 2009, Americus, GA - Star Racing is pleased to announce that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the AMA Dragbike series, and the American Drag Racing League (ADRL), and will offer over $180,000 in contingencies for 2009.  Contingency payouts for winner and runner-up will be distributed over 22 AMA Dragbike and ADRL classes! 

Star will also be continuing its support of the South Eastern Drag Racing Association (SEMDRA) by sponsoring the first race of the season – the Star Racing Nationals on March 21st, as well as being a class sponsor for the 6.0 Ultra Street Class.

In addition to its support of the racers through contingency sponsorship, Star will be present at selected events with its “big red rig.”   George Bryce, Ken Johnson and others will offer track support, sneak previews of prototypes, cutting edge designs, latest developments, and the coolest upgrades for drag racing as well as street bikes.
