April 22, 2009, Americus, GA - Star Racing steps up their motorcycle high performance parts business with the addition of Doug Reed as Parts Manager.  Reed, a sport bike product specialist, will oversee all aspects of the parts department including sales, purchasing and inventory management.

 

Prior to joining Star, Reed worked as Sales Manager for Suzuki of Dublin for five years.  He brings his extensive knowledge of sport bikes including the Hayabusa, GSX-R1000, ZX-10 and ZX-14 to the company.  He has also been an active member of the SEMDRA drag racing series since 2003.  Reed resides in Dublin, GA with his wife Rhonda and three daughters.

 

“I’m glad to be a part of the Star team and excited to be bringing my experience with sport bikes to the company,” said Reed.  “I look forward to talking to customers on the phone to help them get the right parts at the best price.  I’m working on extending the Star parts line and adding new products during the coming months.  I will also be attending all of the SEMDRA and most of the AMA events, and will be glad to bring your parts or machine work to the race.  See you at the track!”
